Thebo Licht GmbH & Co.KG stellt sich vor

1960 wurde die Firma Friedel Theben gegründet. Anfangs befassten wir uns, neben den Aufgaben in der Elektroinstallation, mit dem Elektro-Maschinenbau sowie Fertigung von Langfeldleuchten aus Kunststoffprofilen.

Nach und nach wurden die Firmenzweige Leuchtenfertigung,Elektroinstallation, Elektromaschinenbau und Leuchteneinzelhandel unter einem Dach zusammengelegt. Durch ständige Erweiterung und Moderniesierung unserer Produktionsstätten und der Verwaltung entwickelten wir uns zu einem international tätigen Unternehmen.

2000 Im Zuge eines Generationswechsel in der Geschäftsleitung entstand die Theben Lichttechnik GmbH & Co.KG unter der Geschäftsleitung von Engelbert Theben.

2008 THEBO Licht GmbH & Co.KG wird gegründet und übernimmt den Vertrieb und die Marke THEBO. Dies ist ein weiterer Schritt im Generationswechsel der Unternehmensgruppe, die somit alle Aufgaben auf Engelbert Theben übertragen hat.
Auch die Produktion in den Behinderten Werkstätten hat sich immer mehr ausgeweitet. In mittlerweile 21 Werkstätten in NRW wird für THEBO gefertigt. Somit trägt THEBO einen großen Anteil an den sozialen Leistungen der Behinderten Arbeit bei.

50 YEARS OF THEBO

1960
Founded in 1960 by Friedel Theben the company originally specialised in electrical installations, electrical engineering and the manufacture of fluorescent light fittings. Gradually all these activities were brought together under one roof at our current site.
Over the next 20 years the company, with its focus on modernisation and the production of top quality lighting systems, grew rapidly, earning itself an international reputation for quality and service.

2000
The year 2000 saw another milestone in the developement of the company when the next generation of the family, Engelbert Theben assumed the responsibility for the management of the Theben Lighting Gmbh & Co.KG., keeping the same focus on supplying quality products and service as had his father Friedel.

2008
In 2008 the company becomes Thebo Licht Gmbh & Co.KG. now under the ownership and overall control of Engelbert Theben, and takes on the responsibilities of manufacturing and distributing the brand THEBO.
Recently, as well as increasing production in its' own factory, Thebo has greatly increased its' outsourcing for assembly working and currently has 21 facilities for the disabled working on its' products.

The last 20 years has senn steady growth for the company, and now to keep abreast of the new advances of technology in home lighting, it is concentrating on the developement of the new LED systems, maintaining, as always the emphasis on top quality, power ratios and reliability.Alongside this the company is successfully promoting in Europe its' plug and socket systems for fitted kitchens, a range which is now beginning to catch on in the UK.
As always the emphasis remains on quality, design and service.
